15,000 ATTENDANCE AT SCUAA-NCR GAMES FOR 2013

?Moving ahead towards sports excellence ?in this year's theme, the State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association-National Capital Region (SCUAA-NCR) made history as it opens its 26th season on Nov. 26 at Quirino Grandstand with a 15,000 attendance.

Even though the rain poured heavy during the event, delegates from different Colleges and Universities paraded led by the performers from Triple K Gymnastic Acrobatic and Entertainment Company carried school flags as part of the team entourage in the parade of the athletic delegates.

The ceremony started with the entrance of the Philippine flag carried by the PhilSCA ROTC Cadet followed by the doxology and national anthem headed by the HimigHimpapawid of Phillippine State College of Aeronautics.

?Athletes are heroes for the victims of the Storm Surge and Earthquake as this year's SCUAA-NCR tournament for a cause. All universities hold their hands together to help our fellow Filipino,? said Dr. Bernard R. Ramirez, President Philippine State College of Aeronautics and Chairman, Executive Board 26th SCUAA-NCR, in his welcome remarks.

Fireworks display, a dramatic Performance by Triple K Gymnastic Acrobatic and Entertainment Company, a heartwarming dance of PhilSCA Cultural Affairs Unit and a Field demonstration compose of thousands of students from Philippine Normal and Philsca served as their welcome for the delegates of the different Universities that included Phillipine Normal University(PNU) EulogioAmangRoddriguez Institute of Science and Technology(EARIST),Marikina Polytechnic University (MPC), Rizal Technological University (RTU)Technological University of the Philippines (TUP),Philippine Unversity of the Philippines (PUP).
