FARENAS vs RIOS FOR IBF INT'L TITLE DEC 12 AT SOLAIRE

This coming Dec. 12 at the beautiful Solaire Resort and Casino, the Philippines will once again experience championship boxing at its finest. The hard work of two-time former world champion Gerry Penalosa who is teaming up with 8 time world champion Manny Pacquiao and young hot promoter Anson Tui Co to bring the Philippines more world class excitement with three tough Mexican fighters.

The main event is for the vacant IBF International Super Featherweight Championship pitting the tough Filipino fighter Michael ?Iron Hand? Farenas (36-4-28KO) against the pride of Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico Jesus ?Chito? Rios (26-4-20KO).

Rios once held the WBA Fedcentro Title and has had two knockout victories this year. The tough hitting Rios (no relation to Brandon) has prepared hard for this fight.

The hard hitting Farenas who trains under Gerry Penalosa has his eyes set on another world title fight.

The co main event features Filipino Richard ?The Beast? Pumicpic (13-5-4KO) vs former two time amateur champion from Mexico Luis Lugo (15-4-11KO). Pumicpic is the former WBC Youth Silver Bantamweight Champion and the Philippines Boxing Federation Bantamweight Champion.

Lugo who hails from Los Mochis, Mexico, which is known as a hot bed for boxing. Lugo who has just turned 18 years old and has sparred with some former world champions as in Fernando Montiel and Jorge Arce. The kid from Los Mochis trains under Luis Gonzalez of the LARAZA boxing gym.

The son of the legend, Dodie Boy Jr. (11-0-11KO) will face off against the tough kid from Los Mochis, Alem Robles (6-3-2KO). The young Robles, trains under the tough tutelage of head trainer Luis Gonzlaez at the LARAZA boxing gym. Penalosa is on his way to superstardom like his father Dodie Boy Sr. and his uncle Gerry Penalosa.
