MACAU, China ? Filipinos Dan Nazareno Jr. and Harmonito dela Torre fashioned out a pair of abbreviated victories in the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Brandon Rios showdown Sunday at the Cotai Arena of the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel.

The Pampangueno Nazareno, fighting as a welterweight, proved the better of Pacquiao?s sparring partners as he dominated from the opening bell on forcing the corner of Liam Vaughan of England to throw in the towel 58.77 seconds gone of the second round of their four-round encounter.

Nazareno and Vaughan both helped the Filipino ring icon as dancing partners at the latter?s Pacman Wild Card Gym in General Santos City where Pacquiao pitched camp for nine weeks before coming in this, China?s gambling city.

Nazareno of the Rommel Nazario boxing stable in Paranaque City was pummeling Vaughan with left right combinations in the corner when Filipino trainer Marvin Somodio signaled referee SawaengThaweekon to stop the annihilation as his boy had had enough.

Nazareno, thus, improved to 18-10 win-loss slate with 13 KOs.

Dela Torre, a lightweight, likewise, had Indonesian Jason Butar-Butar at the Palm of his hands from the start caught his opponent with a right uppercut, in the third round of their six-round meeting which the referee thought was a push.8-2 with 2 KOs.

The third man in the ring, the same official who called the Nazareno-Vaughan fight, nevertheless, counted out Butrar-Butar who remained lying on the mat.

Dela Torre remained unbeaten in 11 times up with his sixth stoppage win. The loss was Butar-Butar?s 12th in 17 tries.

Nazareno and Dela Torre?s twin jewels somehow overshadowed unbeaten Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr.?s third round TKO win over Tor Hamer that crowned the former the new World Boxing Organization international heavyweight belt owner. It was Ruiz?s 21st consecutive win.

Also drowned under the Filipino duo?s sterling show in the international stage was Russian Evgeny Gradovich ninth round stoppage of Australian Billy Dib ? his 18th streak -- for the International Boxing Federation featherweight crown.

Chinese Olympian Zhou Shing sent his countrymen in frenzy after scoring his third straight triumph ? a unanimous decision over Mexican Juan ?Pollo? Toscano -- following his jump to the professional rank.

Other early results saw Ik Yang, also of China outpointing Hero Tito of Indonesia in six rounds, and Kuok Kun Ng making it three-in-a-row for the host country with another unanimous decision win over You-Jie Zeng of Thailand, also in four rounds.

Rex Tso of Hong Kong stopped Thai Susu Sithjadeang in the second of another six-rounder while Felix Verdejo of of Puerto Rico made the day a bleak one for the Thai campaigners outlasting Petchsamuthr Duanaaymukdahan over six rounds.
