CHICAGO -- The Indiana Pacers remained the only unbeaten team in the NBA this season, racking up their eighth win Monday night at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Their latest victims were the Memphis Grizzlies, who fell on the short end of a 95-79 beating.
Six Pacers ended up scoring double figures in points but no one performed better than Lance Stephenson, who dished a triple-double with 11 rebounds, 12 assists and 13 points in 34 minutes and 9 seconds of play.
"Obviously, Lance was a force out there with his triple-double but the most impressive part about it to me was 12 assists and one turnover. He's been one of our most efficient players all year, " Pacers head coach Frank Vogel told NBA.com.
Paul George finished with 23 points while George Hill added 13. Luis Scola chipped in 12 and David West tallied 10 for the Pacers, who shot 48.7 percent (37-of-76) of their field goals.
The Grizzlies, who fell to 3-4, made only 31 of their 75 shots (41.3 percent). They were led by Marc Gasol with 15 points and six boards. Zach Randolph also pulled down six rebounds with 12 points while Mike Conley chalked 11 markers and two assists. (Homer D. Sayson)
