Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao yesterday said he is willing to travel to Puerto Rico to be with his trainer Freddie Roach as they start preparation at the Wilfredo Gomez gym for the April 28 showdown with Korean In jin Chi.
Pacquiao, in an interview with ABS-CBN, has indicated that he would be more than willing to join Oscar De la Hoya in Puerto Rico where the latter will base his training camp as he prepares for his titanic May 5 showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
"When i go to the US, maybe i will fly to Puerto Rico to check the place. Training with Oscar will be fine with me," Pacquiao said.
Countless fans in the Philippines have been asking why De la Hoya would be training in Puerto Rico, apparently not knowing that the world's most popular fighter is married to the beautiful Puerto Rican songstress Millie Corretjer, whose 'En Cuerpo Y Alma' music video with the Golden Boy remains a big favorite among fans.
