This coming October 26 in the beautiful scenic view of Cebu City, Philippines, the Pinoy Pride series will headline the Panamanian hard hitting Rafael ?EL TORITO? Concepcion (18-6-8KO) who will try to reclaim glory in the sweet city where he won the WBA Interim World Super Flyweight Championship by beating local hero from the tough and rough barrio of Pasil, Cebu city, AJ ?Bazooka? Banal five years ago on July 26, 2008.
I had the privilege to talk to ?EL TORITO? this past weekend about his upcoming fight against the fast rising star of the ALA Boxing Team, Genesis ?AZUKAL? Servania (22-0-8KO).

Concepcion ? Yes, he is a good fighter, but he has never fought anyone as strong and tough as me. He will be in the fight of his life.

Lopez - Will you bring the same team as before?

Concepcion ? Yes, I will bring the same trainer Rigoberto Garibaldi. He is one of the best trainers around. He has trained many champions. Rosendo Alvarez, Carlos Murillo, Guillermo Jones, Ricardo Mayorga and the best Latino ever, the great Roberto ?Manos De Pierdas? Duran. I do not have the same manager, Damon DeBella. I had to terminate my business with him as he was cheating me out of my fight purses. That really hurt me emotionally and mentally as I wasn?t focused in the fight with Fernando Montiel in our world title fight.
S?, voy a llevar el mismo entrenador Rigoberto Garibaldi. ?l es uno de los mejores entrenadores de todo. ?l ha entrenado a muchos campeones. Rosendo Alvarez, Carlos Murillo, Guillermo Jones, Ricardo Mayorga y el mejor latino nunca, el gran Roberto "Manos De Pierdas" Duran. Yo no tengo el mismo director, Damon DeBella. Ten?a que terminar mi negocio con ?l mientras me estaba enga?ando de mi lucha bolsos. Eso realmente hacerme da?o emocional y finalmente menatally ya que no me concentro en la pelea con Fernando Montiel en nuestra pelea por el t?tulo mundial.

Concepcion ? I am always training.

Concepcion ? I have a heart of a lion. The Filipino fans saw that in my fight against Banal, I will never give up and I have fought better boxers than what Servania has faced. Servania was exposed in his last fight against the Japanese boxer in Macau. He doesn?t have punching power.

Concepcion ? Yes, my beautiful wife is Ashley Juarez Concepcion and I have two children, my daughter is 6 and my son is 2. My wife supports me very much and that is what is needed in this sport of boxing.

Lopez ? What can you say about the Filipino people?

Concepcion ? They have boxing in their blood. They were very nice to me the last time I was in Cebu. I know I have many boxing fans in Cebu.

Concepcion ? The Filipino people will see a great fight. I am hungry now to win the WBO Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight Title and get another world title shot. For Servania, I will destroy Servania much worse than I did to Banal. After this fight, I will be the new son of Cebu.

El joven gallardo Michael Aldeguer es el Presidente de ALA Promotions Boxeo y ha tomado las riendas de su padre para construir ALA Boxing en un gigantesco espect?culo de boxeo y con su vicepresidente Dennis Canete del famoso Canete Arnis Clan, est?n mostrando el mundo, son los principales actores en el mundo del boxeo y que no est?n tomando un asiento trasero a nadie.
