MAYWEATHER HAS NO CHOICE BUT PACQUIAO FOR HIS NEXT BOUT

What reason could be more compelling for Mayweather to fight Pacquiao other than the reason why he dodges Pacquiao?

The matchup remains to be the most sought after boxing event of this generation. ESPN?s on-going survey reveals that fans still want the ?Pacquiao-Mayweather? fight by a whopping 59%, but what for? Don?t Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his followers realize that no argument can defend any person who aspires to be the best in his field but ducks opportunities to prove himself worthy of the accolade?

Saying Manny Pacquiao could beat Mayweather holds water because Pacquiao craves the fight and he?s a tough, aggressive southpaw fighter who savors action. But silly is the way to describe ?exotics? who insist that Mayweather will school or rout Pacquiao once they meet in the ring in light of the fact that Mayweather continues running from the ring where Pacquiao waits. Where?s the point?

Transcendent of the biggest revenue he can earn from facing his biggest fear, and in a single fight, Floyd has no choice but to say yes to ?Mayweather-Pacquiao? now (or never?). He needs Pacquiao in as much as he needs to wake up to some sad realities of his boxing career tainted with a ?perfect? record, the saddest of which is his refusal to fight an ?icon? who has tremendous potentials to beat him. The world is not likely to buy any Mayweather fight next to Canelo alvarez except the Pacman in 2014.

Names can easily rot however vast the fame and fortune that manipulative, self-seeking people amassed for themselves. A ?good? name dies with them and lowers under the same ground when they die. It is not anything mundane that puts aroma and ascribes eternity to a name. Legacy does it and a heart that is true is the first and last requirement.

A fool who would outwit reason to succeed fooling history is yet to be born because history in no CJ Ross, and because history has always been a just, fair and righteous judge.

No excuses, Floyd. Brave a storm. You have within you the loftiest of arguments to fight Manny ?Pacman? Pacquiao.
Try being great and becoming truly the best.

Yield.
