BATANG PINOY VISAYAS LEG BOXING SEMIFINAL BOUTS

MAASIN CITY, SOUTHERN LEYTE - Twenty-two semi-final bouts were held for two days, eleven on each day, on September 26-27 during the Batang Pinoy Visayas Qualifying Leg at the Maasin City Bus Terminal. Here are the results:

Louie Jay Forzado (Maasin City) defeated Romar Piamonte (So. Leyte), 28 kg. by split decision
Jefre Jiminez (Cebu City) d. John Excel Mugar ( Mandaue City), 28 kg. by unanimous decision
John Paul Gobonelas (Cebu City) d. Christian Brandon Oledan (Leyte Sports Academy), 30 kg. by UD
