Wonder kid Rey Loreto did it again! Against all odds he pulled a huge win in Thailand. Filipino Rey "The Hitman" Loreto of Calinan in Davao City, became the new WBA interim Pan Asian Jr. Flyweight king by defeating via technical decision world-ranked Thai former WBA world champion Pornsawan Porpramook (28-6-1, 17 KOs) today in Bangkok, Thailand.

It's the second time that the 22 year-old Loreto scores an impressive win in the kingdom of smiles.

Two years ago - again as a huge underdog - Rey Loreto pulled of a thrilling knockout victory by pummeling and knocking out world-ranked Wisanu Kokietgym (43-9-2, 13 KOs) at the Chaleena Hotel in Bangkok, and PhilBoxing was there.

Today's win will likely catapult Loreto back to the WBA Jr. flyweight (108 lbs) world rankings.

Loreto was assisted in Thailand by his coach Joven "JJ" Jorda.

The Loreto-Pornsawan was a production veteran Thai boxing patron Niwat Laosuwanwat, head of Galaxy Boxing.

Rey Loreto is new PABA Interim Jr Flyweight champ.
