PLDT-ABAP NATIONAL BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

MAASIN CITY - The PLDT-ABAP National Boxing Championships came to a close yesterday as an overflowing crowd at the City Gym witnessed the final bouts and awarding ceremonies. Very positive impressions were delivered by our delegates sending the message that the national tournament in Maasin is by far the best in hosting.

Dante de Castro, ABREJAP President, said that the facilities were international class especially our boxing ring. Ed Picson, ABAP Executive Director commended Maasin City especially the ever enthusiastic crowd who filled the venue from day one to the finals, which is not seen in the other national tournaments.

The national media also admired the city and it's people and our passion for sports. Our people were enthusiastic that they witnessed the best amateur boxers of the country.
