TAMPA, FLORIDA--The final press conference for this Saturday's Golden Boy Promotions card has just been unwrapped with no less than promoter Oscar De la Hoya himself in attendance.

Also in attendance were GBP CEO Richard Schaefer and vice-president Eric Gomez and Filipino promoter Sammy Gello-ani, while main event fighters Winky Wright, a co-promoter to this fight, was also on hand as well as former world welterweight champion Ike 'Bazooka' Quartey.

Wright and Quartey battle it out in the 12-round main event of this card to be held at the 22,000-capacity St. Pete Times Forum and will be televised live on HBO Championship Boxing beginning at 9:45PM ET and 6:45 PM PT.

The chief support pits Jeff 'Left Hook' Lacy against Ukrainian Vitali Tsypko, which is a rematch of their 2004 outing which resulted in a no-contest following an accidental clash of heads in the second round.

Top Filipino prospect Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista, who was introduced by De la Hoya as the 'next Manny Pacquiao' before announcing that 'it can't get any bigger than this,' also spoke in English at the press conference and announced his readiness to take on Brazilian Giovanni Andrade in the 10-round undercard. Bautista was joined at the dais by top Filipino promoter Sammy Gello-ani. Trainer Edito Villamor was also in attendance.

"As co-promoter of this event, I am proud to be associated with two athletes of this high caliber," said De la Hoya. "Winky Wright is one of the premier technicians of this era and still on top of his game, and I know firsthand how tough Ike Quartey is, since he gave me one of my toughest fights. This fight should be a war."

The rest of the card pits Darrell Woods versus Levan Easley; Carlos Rivera against Jose Hernandez; Jose Rodriguez and Darryl Madison against separate opponents, and Juan Dominguez versus Jorge Lucas.

Tickets for Wright-Quartey, priced at $35, $50, $100, $200, $350, $750 and $1000 are available at the McDonald's Box Office at the St. Pete Times Forum and all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone at (813) 287-8844 or (727) 898-2100, or log onto ticketmaster.com.
