Historic Eight-Division World Champion Sets Sights on Dominating the Boxing Promotion World

LOS ANGELES — Boxing icon, international superstar, and eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has officially announced the U.S. launch of his new boxing promotional company, Manny Pacquiao Promotions (MPP)— an ambitious new venture aimed at reshaping the future of the sport he helped define. The company’s website is now live at www.PacquiaoPromotions.com.

Pacquiao, a 12-time world champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer, has spent the last decade as a public servant in the Philippines while continuing to be a global ambassador for the sport. Now, at 46, the living legend known worldwide as “Pac-Man” is stepping into a new role — one that allows him to give back to boxing by building the next generation of champions.

“It is an honor to bring Manny Pacquiao Promotions to the U.S.,” said Pacquiao. “Some of my most unforgettable moments happened inside American rings. Now, I want to help create those same moments for today’s fighters. Through talent-stacked events and an elite platform, we’ll showcase the rising stars and seasoned warriors ready to capture the world’s attention.”

World-Class Leadership Behind the Brand
To ensure long-term success, Pacquiao has assembled a powerhouse leadership team with unmatched experience and vision:

Sean Gibbons, Pacquiao’s longtime adviser and one of boxing’s most respected minds, will serve as President of Manny Pacquiao Promotions. With over 35 years in the sport, Gibbons has worked with more than 50 world champions and played a pivotal role in guiding elite fighters like WBC Interim Super Lightweight World Champion Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz.

“MPP is committed to becoming the world’s leading boxing promotional company,” said Gibbons. “We’re creating a new standard in fight promotion — and it all starts now.”

Acclaimed Hollywood executive and entrepreneur Tony Cohen has joined MPP as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President. A seasoned leader with success across entertainment, sports, and business, Cohen brings unmatched strategic insight and is already working on MPP’s expansion into new markets and media platforms.

“We’re building more than just a promotion,” said Cohen. “We’re building an empire. I’m proud to stand alongside Manny and Sean as we launch a global brand that puts fighters and fans first.”

Cohen is spearheading the development of a new independent Pay-Per-View (PPV) platform to revolutionize the way combat sports content is delivered to global audiences. He is also in active talks with over 25 major casino and arena partners across the U.S., with a goal of bringing championship boxing to both coasts and everywhere in between.

Global Expansion Already Underway
Brendan Gibbons, another cornerstone of the team, has been named Lead Matchmaker. Known for his keen eye for talent and deep matchmaking experience, Brendan will oversee all upcoming fight cards across the U.S. and internationally.

“We’ve only just launched in August 2025, and we already have two world title fights and an amazing fight scheduled for November, which Brendan has put together,” said Cohen. — and we’re just getting started.”

MPP is actively signing rising stars and established champions, with a mission to build the most exciting, competitive, and globally recognized roster in combat sports.

Full fight schedules and event announcements are expected in the coming weeks. Sponsorship opportunities, advertising partnerships, and media inquiries are welcome as the company gears up for a blockbuster 2026.
