Weights from China: Zhong - 104.5, Martinez - 104.1

The biggest fight in the history of boxing in China will unfold this Saturday night. The two boxers faced each other at the official weigh-in. Xiong Zhao Zhong tipped the scales at 104.5 while his opponent Mexican Javier Martinez came to the scales at a fit 104.1

These two warriors are not only fighting for the vacant WBC minimumweight title, they are fighting for history, to be the first world champion to ever be crowned in China.

The venue will be at the Kunming City Stadium in Kunming, China. The young rising Promoter Liu Gang of Zovi Boxing Promotions is expecting to put China on the boxing map after this event. The referee for this historic fight is battle tested and internationally known Bruce McTavish.

The bout will also be streamed live on wbcboxing.tv
