Yesterday was a spectacular day for boxing. Good fights were fought by good boxers, but they were won by boxers with fighting hearts using ?sweetness? and ?science? in the sport and exuding warrior-like spirit with cleverness.
Adrien Broner and Brian Viloria have both especially exhibited what it means to be a champion when they stopped beautifully their high caliber foes Antonio De Marco and Hernan ?Tyson? Marquez respectively. Viloria and Broner are pound-for-pound boxers who have yet to duck someone.
Quickly watching the fights on replay a day after the live telecast, and without the influence of views reading news and articles, I was led to make my own list of top ten pound-for-pound fighters in boxing for the first time shortly before I leave the house for work this morning.
Broner easily made it to spot #7 below Canelo Alvarez. Viloria at #9, Pacquiao is at #3, while the Klitchko brothers winning the top two honors.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is at the bottom #10 edging slightly Brandon Rios. Every list should be subject to thorough changes which would have to depend largely on fight results and the boxers? attitude as a professional sportsman who fights not to paint himself cute in order to impress and earn big bucks in ?mega fights.?
Whatever ?experts? may say about my list, they are entitled to their own opinions or ?opinions.? Mine is way beyond opinion, they are unbiased conclusions based on criteria sans ?personal preference.?
