MAASIN PRIDE IV: PAGARA VS. EAUSAMPAN WEIGH IN WITH PHOTOS

Albert Pagara and Tawanrung Eausampan together with the other protagonists of Maasin Pride IV had their weigh in and press conference this morning at the Maasin City Integrated and Bus Terminal. A press conference was also held attended by the Associated Media of Southern Leyte. Before the event they paid a courtesy call at the Office of the City Mayor.

Both main event boxers did not predict what round could they stop each other but just promised to do their best and give Maasin City boxing fans a good fight.

The weigh in was supervised by Rolando Mendoza and Dr. Rene Bonsubre, Jr. of the Games and Amusements Board. In attendance were city officials, city employees, barangay captains, members of the Southern Leyte Amateur Boxing Association, and the general public. WBO international light-welterweight champion Jason Pagara was also at the weigh in.

?I am so happy to be here in the Philippines and I promised to put up a good fight,? said Eausampan through an interpreter.

Pagara meanwhile announced his intention to give satisfaction to his kababayans. ?I will do my best to win this one for you,? he said amidst cheering Maasin City boxing fans.

The official weights are:

Albert Pagara ? 119 lbs.
Tawanrung Eausampan ? 118 lbs.

Jojo Flash Entor ? 122 lbs.
Jonel Busano ? 121 lbs.

Jamjam Ungon ? 121 lbs.
Takaoki Naoma ? 121 ? lbs.

Bryan Lobitania ? 118 lbs.
Berun ? 118 lbs.
