GENERAL SANTOS CITY (PNA)- With the all ingredients needed for a more extensive training regimen awaiting him at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, Manny Pacquiao said preparations for his fourth encounter with Juan Manuel Marquez are going on smoothly and without an iota of hitch.

Saying extending his training camp here proved to be a blessing-in-disguise, the eight-division champion expressed that he's more than ready for a more tedious program chief trainer Freddie Roach has charted in an effort to get him ready for the fight set December 8 at the MGM Grand.

"As we've been saying, we plan to win convincingly this time, possibly via knockout and that's we've been working on since we pitched camp here in GenSan," Pacquiao told People's Journal in a long conversation while partaking sumptous dinner with members of his team after a two and-a-half hour workout at the People's Gym inside the huge Family Country Hotel compound.

"The stamina is already there, the speed and power have been recovered at wala ng kulang na gawin kundi pagaralan ang taktika at strategy na gagamitin sa laban pagdating sa LA," the 33-yer-old Fighter of the Decade assured.

"Maganda ang aming camp dito. No distractions whatsoever.
Pacquiao was referring to the regimen prepared by himself, his boyhood friend assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez and younger brother Roger "Haplas" Fernandez.

One other wonderful thing happening at his camp, according to the Pacman, is there has been a very minimal distractions both in his roadwork at the General Santos Sports Complex oval and in his gym worki at the People's Champ Gym, built solely for his use by businessman-sportsman friend Rey Golingan, owner of the Family Country Hotel.

"My security nga (headed by Caloy Homo) hindi na naha-high blood sa pag-awat ng mga taong nagpo-pose for picture o nagpapapirma ng authograph, he said with a giggle.

Far from it," he said.

"Me neglecting my preparation? Never.

Kaming lahat na magkakasama noong una pa man," Pacquiao said.
