The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has once again proven that hard work and professionalism pays off as ALA Promotions and giant network ABS-CBN present "Pinoy Pride XV" on Saturday with two WBO titles at stake at the world class Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.

WBO Asia Pacific Chairman Leon Panoncillo, who has been at the forefront of taking the WBO into unpredented heights in the Asian region, will personally supervise the bouts to assure fairness and integrity in the fights.

"The WBO is proud to be associated in this major event, ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN have track records of producing outstanding shows that do extremely well in the ratings, and this event on Saturday should be nothing short of that," stressed Panoncillo, who will arriving tomorrow after supervising another WBO show in Manila.

Meanwhile, all three Mexican fighters who are seeing action on Saturday for the "Pinoy Pride XV" event at the Waterfront Hotel are already in perfect shape, even making their respective weights two days ago.

This was revealed by their Mexican interpreter and cornerman Michael Angel Lopez, who even suggested that the main event featuring ALA fighter Jason Pagara in a rematch with Mexico's Rosbel Montoya promises to have the making of a Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales I fight.

"The guys already made weight two days ago! Montoya is not just in great shape, he is in a monster shape!" said Lopez, who regularly assists visiting Mexican and Latino fighters during fights in Cebu and elsewhere in the country.

The main event has fireworks written all over it featuring the grudge rematch between Pagara and Montoya, who faced off last year with the Mexican stylist taking home a unanimous decision verdict over the ALA fighter.

"This time, it will be a different Pagara he is facing. I have trained doubly hard for this, and now I am not facing the same problems I had during our first fight. This should be war," said Pagara when interviewed over "Pinoy Boxing," the country's premier boxing show on radio.

Also slated on the card is unbeaten Genesis Servania who will take on Mexican Jorge Pazos for the WBO Asia Pacific superbantamweight title.
