RP bantam champ Michael Domingo of the ALA Stable goes up for the world crown this time as he faces France bantamweight champ Frederic Patrac for the World Boxing Foundation bantam title on October 3 in France.

This will be Domingo's first world title attempt, and one which he will take fully-loaded.

The Libac, Sultan Kudarat native Domingo (26-13-3, 11 KO's) is coming off two huge wins this month, one underneath the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar Larios tiff, and another one in defense of his RP bantam crown.

On July 2, Domingo demolished Mexican Alejandro Felix Montiel at the Araneta Coliseum despite coming into the fight as a late replacement for Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista.

Less than two weeks later, Domingo then defended his RP crown, surviving a spirited Johnny Lear to retain his title via a split decision verdict following their 12-round bout at the Metropolis Mall in Alabang.

The 28-year-old Patrac, who hails from Agde, France, but born in Beziers, holds a 19-7-1, 10 KO's record, and owns the national bantam title in his country. He has been unbeaten in his last five fights, and has traveled to Belgium, Italy, Germany, Algeria, and Spain to take on all comers.
