Jerry Nardo.
Jerry ?Dangerous? Nardo (15 wins 6KOs) is now considered as one of the top fighters produced by Top Prime Stable alongside Philippine bantamweight champion Arthur ?El Matador? Villanueva and current Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation Minimumweight champion Merlito ?Tiger? Sabillo.

Nardo forced Ryan Illustrisimo (W-12, L-5, 5KOs) of Bantayan, Cebu to kiss the canvas in the third round of the scheduled 8 rounds in the Super Bantamweight division during the Boxing Blow by Blow Tour Bout held last Nov. 27 at the Brgy. Pahanocoy gym here in Bacolod City.

That third round KO has booked Illustrisimo?s second defeat in the hands of this Escalante City-native, Nardo. He first lost to the Negrense pride last October 15 via majority decision in a match held at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Meanwhile, Rhay-Rhay ?Striker? Guanzon of Bacolod City improved his record to 15 wins, a loss with 4 KOs after winning in a unanimous decision over Rodel Sungkit of Butuan. Guanzon?s win gave Sungkit his fifth loss in his career against 7 victories and a draw.

On the other hand, two more Top Prime Stable fighters made great performance after outscoring their respective opponents during the weekend?s brawl.

Allan Doronila of Valencia City, Bukidnon won over Jaime Bermiso of Cebu via UD while Loue Arlos of Sagay City, Negros Occidental also outplayed Ronel Pasunting of Butuan City by way of UD.

The event was made possible through the partnership of JR Promotions of Rev. Henry Guanzon, Kopiko and the Barangay Council of Brgy. Pahanocoy in Bacolod City headed by their chieftain Elmo Olivar.

Supervising the fight was the Games and Amusement Board headed by Chairman Monju Guanzon and Bacolod-OIC Jovencio Paroco.
