It's Z Gorres' turn to mesmerize Filipino and American fight fans today as he tangles with Colombian Pedro Rincon Miranda in the undercard of the WBO bantanmweight showdown between Jhonny Gonzalez and Fernando Montiel at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.

The flashy southpaw Gorres (23-1-1, 12 KO's), who holds the OPBF superfly title, will try to duplicate the impressive win hacked out by his stablemate Rey 'Boom Boom' Bautista last weekend, who stopped Roberto Bonilla in three short rounds at the Staples Center.

Miranda (30-10-2, 25 KO's), a native of Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia, is a replacement for Gorres' original opponent Jose Laureno, who was not medically cleared to see action.

The Gorres-Miranda bout will be aired on a delayed simulcast tonight over Solar Sports and IBC, starting at 8:30PM.

At yesterday's weigh-in held at the Double Tree Hotel located in Carson, California, Gorres came in at a sizzling 115 1/2 lbs, while Miranda tipped the beam at 115 3/4 lbs.

An impressive win by the WBO no. 1 superfly Gorres today will solidify his possible crack at the WBO superfly title, which was left vacant after Montiel decided to challenge Gonzalez.
