Outstanding Filipino minimumweight Florante Condes, who holds the national 105-lb title, was chosen by the Games and Amusements Board as its Boxer of the Month for April, 2006.
The heavy-punching Condes earned the accolade following his heart-stopping war with Armand De la Cruz last April 21, where he had to come back from near-defeat to hack out a stoppage win over the gutsy Bohol fighter.
