WBO Asia Pacific chairman Leon Panoncillo will be the supervisor for today's huge rematch between David Tua and Monte Barrett at the Telstra Clear Events Centre in Manukau City, New Zealand.

The event is generating buzz and excitement among fight fans as Tua is determined for payback against the only man to have sent him to the canvas in their first outing on July 2010 which resulted in a majority draw.

"This is going to be a very exciting fight, I can't wait to see it. David Tua is determined to redeem himself, and Barrett looks put closure to this," said Panoncillo, who also supervised the recent Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley fight in Las Vegas.

A loss today, according to Tua himself, might signal the end of his once illustrious career.

"My approach from here on at this time in my life is every fight could possibly be my last fight," Tua told New Zealand's Stuff. "I've faced a lot of challenging times and sometimes it's really hard to wake up and get up every day when you don't feel the best. But when you're a provider and you have a wife and kids to be responsible for it puts everything in the right perspective. That's where it's at for me.

"I'm a quiet achiever. I don't cry about it. I don't feel sorry about certain things. I try to stay positive no matter what."

Tua, 52-3-2 with with 43 KO's, takes on Barrett, 34-9-2 with 20 KO's for the WBO Asia Pacific and WBO Oriental heavyweight titles.
