Expect no less than Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales to be at ringside when leathers start flying on July 2 between Manny Pacquiao and Oscar Larios at the Aranetal Coliseum.
A source from the Manny Pacquiao Promotions reportedly intimated yesterday that Golden Boy Promotions, the promotional outfit which handles Barrera and Larios, wants no less than Barrera to be part of the television panel covering the title fight.
Eric Pineda, top man of the MPP, also revealed in a separate interview yesterday that Erik Morales will be invited by ABS-CBN to be at ringside for the fight.
The giant network, according to Pineda, will even offer Morales a slot in a Mexican telenovela for Filipino viewers.
Barrera, nicknamed the "Baby-Faced Assasin," has a standing offer for a November 4 bout with Pacquiao, although the Filipino is keen on honoring first his commitment to fight Erik Morales in a rubbermatch in September or October.
Morales will definitely be invited for the event, along with Oscar De la Hoya, Bernard Hopkins, and possibly Mike Tyson or the great Muhammad Ali, whose classic 'Thrilla in Manila' was also held at the Big Dome.
