Pan-Asian Boxing Association (PABA) super-featherweight champ Jun Paderna will defend his title for the first time on April 20 at the Rajah Sulaiman Park in the mainer of a card being put up in time for the historic Ist GAB Philippine Boxing Convention.

This was revealed by GAB Commissioner Alex Paglumotan, who is coordinating with the boxing division to firm up the line up of the card which will be witnessed by the foreign boxing dignitaries and local boxing personalities who will be attending the GAB conclave, set on April 18 to 21 at the five-star Hyatt Hotel in Manila.

Paderna, who hails from North Cotabato, acquired the PABA title with an earth-shaking first-round knockout over then champion Sutisak Samaksaman last February 10 in Ubon Rachathani, Thailand.

"We are still working out the final undercard of this championship match. But we guarantee this should be an explosive card to entertain the participants of the convention as well as the fans," stressed Paglumotan.

PABA director-general Alan Kim, who has taken the regional body into great heights and new frontiers, is expected to grace the title event as well as the highly-anticipated GAB Convention.
