MENDOZA TO REF GABI-DARCHINYAN!

An all-American cast of boxing officials has been appointed by the IBF to officiate tomorrow's 12-round flyweight world championship showdown between Filipino Diosdado "Lion Heart" Gabi and titleholder Vic Darchinyan of Australia.
David Mendoza will be the third man on the ring.
However, should the brash Darchinyan fail to deliver on his promise to knock out Gabi, set to render fair judgement are Lou Moret, David Denkin and Pat Russell.
