MAYOL-TREJO OVER AT 'MAIN EVENT' TOMORROW

Filipino fight fans will finally get the chance to see the much-publicized bout between undefeated Rodel Mayol of the Philippines and Lorenzo Trejo of Mexico when 'Main Event' airs the fight starting at 1PM tomorrow over at RPN-9.
The event, witnessed no less by WBC president Jose Sulaiman and the more than 100 past and present world champions who attended the show during the WBC Night of Champions in Cancun, Mexico, was Mayol's last fight before he takes on WBC 105-lb champ Eagle Kyowa on May 8 this year.
Also on the show is the arrival interviews conducted by 'Main Event' on Mayol and OPBF bantam champ Malcolm Tunacao following the latter's 12-round fight in Japan.
Today's edition will also air the panel discussion as to what went wrong in the three judges' scoring of the Malcolm Tunacao-Kohei Ohba 12-rounder, the outcome of which was heavily criticized by Japanese boxing guru Joe Koizumi who saw the fight in Tunacao's favor.
