Unknown to many, World Boxing Council light-flyweight champ Brian "Hawaiian Punch" Viloria has relatives in Talisay City whom he wants to meet soon when he gets the chance to visit Cebu after his fight with Jose Antonio Aguirre this Sunday at the Alladin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

In a recent interview with this writer at the Wynn Las Vegas, Viloria and his father Benjamin both revealed that the young world champion has a grandfather "who lives in Talisay City," and that they are willing to travel to Cebu in their next RP visit to see the old man.

Talisay City is located right next to Cebu City, on the southern part of Cebu province.

"Brian and myself know that he is now in Talisay City. We miss him so much. We will seek him out when we go there," said Benjamin Viloria, in an interview at Lure, an upscale resto-bar at the Wynn Las Vegas.

According to the older Viloria, Brian's grandfather left Narvacan, Ilocos while the champion was still very young, and since then they have yet to be re-united with the grandfather.

The Viloria's have a standing offer from Cebu promoter Rex "Wakee" Salud to visit Cebu at their convenient time, and the latter had even offered the father and son his help in locating their relatives in Talisay City.

"Dugay raman na sila ganahan moanhi diri sa Cebu. Pero wala lang jud kalugar kay busy man nya na timing pod nga na world champion si Brian. Mao tong wa jud tawon ka ari," (They've always been planning to come to Cebu, but they just didn't find time. Then Brian became a world champion, so that made them a lot busier), the well-connected Salud, who is also a close buddy of Manny Pacqu iao, said in a separate interview at the Wynn.
