THE WISE MOVE: DONAIRE, TOP RANK AND GOLDEN BOY

If it was a pure business decision (beyond money matters) for Nonito Donaire to jump yard from Top Rank to Golden Boy Promotions as alleged by some observers, there can be no action more astute for Donaire to make.
And if the Filipino Flash believes that being with the Dela Hoya group, he would be on a better footing to maximize opportunities for him to shine given the unproductive years he spent in the past idly waiting for the ?good fights,? he may have done the wisest move after all.
Loyalty or gratitude is not so much a factor in this issue most especially that Bob Arum himself being an ?astute salesman? in boxing for decades and with an infamous track record as such, has apparently no other considerations to make except what may bring ?huge profit? to his business.
Better to know the person you are dealing with, aside from looking at the issue from different angles, and from there you can base your decisions on how to sort things out and go about clearing the way and head on to your right destination.
