Mexican warrior Alejandro Barrera will set foot in Cebu once again on Monday with his team with only one mission in mind: knock out Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista

Barrera and his team will arrive on Monday in Cebu after a long trip from Mexico City, where they have been holed up for months preparing for this grudge rematch set for January 29 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel topbilling the "Pinoy Pride 3" event.

ALA Promotions marketing head Dennis Canete also informed that Barrera will be accompanied by one more person, most likely his trainer Hugo Correa.

Barrera, according to sources from Mexico, had been sparring with ex-WBO superbantam king Daniel Ponce de Leon to prepare for this grudge rematch, and had reportedly been getting pointers from the former world champion on how to knock out Bautista.

Ponce de Leon had stopped Bautista in their fight which was the main event of the Boxing World Cup in Sacramento, California.

Bautista, meanwhile, has been training at the famed ALA Gym, and has reportedly improved his boxing and defensive skills for this fight, which was evident when he took part in training session last week at the Parkmall in Mandaue City.

"Pinoy Pride 3," a joint undertaking of the ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports, will also feature Edrin Dapudong, Jason Pagara and Roli Gasca as well as fighter-entertainer Jojo Intor.
