After whirlwind skeds in Cebu and Manila, pound-for-pound star Manny Pacquiao is now back in his hometown in General Santos City. Sources from the south has informed that the boxing icon has continued training at the gym of businessman Rey Golingan.

"He's very serious this time. After his training at the ALA Gym, he realized how much this fight with Morales means to the fans. He was moved by the outpouring of love and support at the ALA Gym," said the source.

Meanwhile, another Pinoy fighter figures in his coming out party when he sees action undeneath the Pacquiao-Morales card on January 21.

Jimrex Jaca, newly-crowned RP super-featherweight boss, is reportedly being lined up to face a Mexican in a non-title bout. This will be Jaca's first foray into the big league, and his stepping stone to more lucrative fights.

"Shelly Finkel is arranging Jaca's Las Vegas debut. This is gonna be exciting," said an ecstatic Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who manages Jaca.
