Three more Filipino boxers have apparently been cleared to fight in Thailand by the Games and Amusements Board in clear mismatches against superior Thai fighters.

In a WBO Asia Pacific super bantamweight title fight Adonis Aguelo who is coming off a loss to Philippine featherweight champion Vinvin Rufino last March 25 and has a record of 12-2-1 with 7 knockouts faces Sod Looknongyangtoy, the 32 year old champion with a record of 44-2-1 with 18 knockouts.

Looknongyangtoy?s two losses were against menacing Mexican Daniel Ponce De Leon to whom he dropped a unanimous twelve round decision in a WBO super bantamweight title fight in Tucson, Arizona on October 29, 2005 and suffered a 1st round knockout in a rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on July 15, 2006.

Based on the boxrec.com records the Thai champion has more knockouts to his credit than Aguelo has had fights.

In another obvious mismatch Jovie Merca who has a record of 11-6-1 with 5 knockouts faces hard-hitting Terdsak Jandaeng, nicknamed ?Pit Bull? who is a southpaw with a record of 39-3-1 with 26 knockouts. One of Jandaeng?s losses was a unanimous twelve round decision in a WBO featherweight title fight against Steven Luevano on March 15, 2008. The Thai has since then won 10 of his last 11 fights and drawn 1.

Jandaeng is coming off a 3rd round knockout of Julio de la Basez last April 11 and has won his last four fights by knockout including a 2nd round KO of Reman Salim and a 5th round KO of Jack Asis, both Filipinos.

Merca lost by a 1st round TKO to Anthony ?Rocky? Marcial on February 13, 2009 and dropped a ten round unanimous decision to Jesus Singwancha last March 7 and although he won five straight bouts after the loss to Marcial they were against fighters with very poor records.

In the third fight Michael Rodriguez who has a miserable record of 19 defeats against only 7 wins with not a single win by knockout is set to take on stocky veteran Pigmy Muangchaiyaphum whose record is 40-5-2 with 18 knockouts.

Rodriguez who is coming off back-to-back losses has lost 7 of his last 10 fights.

On May 18 Jujeath ?Shy Girl? Nagawa, the 22 year old Baguio girl with a record of 5-6-1 with 2 knockouts battles Thailand?s Samson Sor Buamad in a clash for the vacant Women?s International Boxing Association minimum weight title.

Buamad is the fighter whose prison term was cut short after she won the vacant women?s WBC light flyweight title beating Japan?s Ayaka Miyao in a fight card inside the Klong Prem Prison in Bangkok.

Nagawa who lost by a 5th round TKO to Japan?s Shindo Go on April 4, 2010 has apparently been cleared to fight by the Games and Amusements Board in violation of its 45 day ban following a stoppage.
