One of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao?s sparring partners David Rodela has been knocked out by hard-hitting Dante "Crazy" Jardon in a battle for the WBC Youth super featherweight title at the Auditorio Plaza La Condesa in Mexico City.

The end came in round three as the lanky Rodela fell victim to the powerful onslaught of Jardon who had won all his 12 bouts by knockout although he did suffer one setback.

Jardon was aggressive throughout the fight and threw punches from all angles, almost non stop. He caught Rodela and dropped him with a wicked left hook in round two and then sent h im to the canvas for a second time with another left hook.

Although Rodela managed to beat the count, Jardon swarmed all over the Pacquiao sparring partner with a flurry of punches to the head and body but Rodela was saved by the bell.

At the start of the third round Jardon went for the kill connecting with some vicious blows that ended with a cracking uppercut that put Rodela down for the full count.

Jardon improved to 12-1, 12 knockouts while Rodela dropped to 12-2-2, 6 knockouts.

Jardon was coming off a 2nd round knockout of Aldalberto Borquez last December 19 while Rodela was coming of a ten round unanimous decision loss to Eloy Perez last January 29.

Jardon?s only loss was in the second fight of his career when he suffered a first round TKO at the hands of Tomas Ramirez on April 20, 2006.
