Lapu-Lapu City--RP no. 4 lightweight Dexter Delada moves into the biggest fight of his career after prevailing on a unanimous decision over Rud 4K Kevkatche over ten rounds here, while young phenom Benedict Suico was back on the winning track with a one-round destruction of Jun Ebale.
Delada cruised to a 98-92, 98-92, 99-91 win over Kevkatche, setting him up for an October 22 challenge of RP lightweight champ Fernando Montilla in Manila.
Suico, fighting for the first time as a Wakee Salud protege, used a big left to stop Ebale at 2:32 of the opening round for a fine knockout victory.
In the card's third 10-round bout, Aljun Salogaol took Gerry Manganip to school with a unanimous decision triumph.
Gabriel Pumar, an unbeaten prospect of the Salud Stable, took out Joel Rodrigo with a big right at 1:41 of the opening round, while Bogie Delada
Gerope Mercado and Abner Llanasa also decisioned Sonny Saguing and Elvin Lano, respectively.
