World Boxing Foundation junior welter king Dindo "Diesel" Casta?ares collides with Japanese Daigoro Yamamoto today in a 10-round non-title rematch at the IMP Hall in Osaka, Japan.

This will be a grudge rematch of their first encounter three years ago, before Casta?ares had won the WBF world title.

"He's better prepared this time compared to their first meeting," said Cebuano boxing patron Tony L. Aldeguer, who manages Casta?ares, in an interview yesterday.

To prepare for Yamamoto, Castanares had been sparring against big boys at the famed ALA Gym, logging in close to 100 rounds of sparring under the watchful eyes of trainer Jeremiah Quijano.

"I feel that I have an unfinished business with him. I'm going to put closure to this," Casta?ares said in an earlier interview at the ALA Gym, referring to their October 5, 2002 showdown also in Osaka which ended in a 10-round draw.

"I think I won the first fight, but my opponent is also good. He's tall and hits hard, so I will test how much he has improved since our last meeting," added Castanares, who is accompanied in his fourth Japan appearance by trainer Jeremiah Quijano.

Casta?ares holds a record of 16 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw with 12 KO's, while Yamamoto parades a 9-2-2, 7 KO's card.
