
VILLAREAL, SANTOS IN PUBLIC WORKOUT TODAY

CEBU CITY--American Anthony Villareal and Mexican Cecilio Santos will hold their public workout today starting 5PM at the ALA Gym in Banila Town Center here.
The two fighters are gearing up for their big fights against ALA fighters Milan Milendo and AJ 'Bazooka' Banal in the biggest Sinulog boxing extravaganza dubbed "Bakbakan sa Sinulog" set for January 14, this Thursday, at the posh Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
The event is presented by ABC-5, Smart, ALA Promotions and ABAP.
Villareal will defend his WBC Youth Intercontinental flyweight title against challenger Milendo, a native of Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City and fighting out of Cebu's ALA Gym.
Santos, who hails from Mexico City, Mexico, goes up against Ermita, Cebu's AJ Banal in a ten-round bout.
This afternoon's public workout will allow fans to interact with both Villareal and Santos, before they do battle with two of Cebu's finest fighters.
Meanwhile, the final press conference for the event takes place tomorrow at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel.
The official weigh-in, which is open to the public, takes place on Wednesday, 11AM, at the Entertainment Plaza of SM City Cebu.
