Sonsona.

WBO Oriental Promoter of the Year Sammy Gello-ani who is gearing up for his Friday Night Fights at the Cebu Coliseum tomorrow September 25th has informed that he has a special guest appearance by no less than our Philippines new WBO Jr. Bantamweight world champion “Marvelous’ Marvin Sonsona.

Sonsona who has pleased the crowd of Cebu and calling Cebu his home is surely making a name for himself after his spectacular win against Jose Carita Lopez this past month to win the WBO Jr. bantamweight crown.

The wonder kid from GenSan wants to thank the fans of Cebu for believing in him and wants to be present at Gello-ani’s program to show his appreciation.

“I will be there to sign autographs, take photos and share to Cebu fight fans my pride and joy of winning the World title belt that I had promised our country, I surely plan to hold it for a long time, thank you Cebu Fans and Mabuhay Pilipinas” said Sonsona.

Sonsona is set to be back at Ontario, Canada on November 21st defending his crown against a name to be announced, as Gello-ani informed, it will be a contender in the top 10 ranking of the World Boxing Organization.

Nevertheless, whomever the promoters will pit against this Kid Wonder will surely be an attractive event as he is the current youngest world champion of all division to defend his World crown, all eyes will be on this youngster.

Tomorrow's event is headlined by the current WBO Intercontinental SuperBantamweight Champion Ramie Laput vs Phil Angcamor. This will also feature Nino Suelo of Manila against Fernando Lumacad of the ABA Gym of Digos City and Filipino-Australian Arnel Barotillo vs. Joy Pol of Leyte.
