
Lopez Fights Sungahid Tonite in Elorde Boxing

Boxing will return to Elorde Sports Center tonite when current WBC International super-flyweight champion Sylvester Lopez, a mainstay of the Elorde Stable, fights veteran Noel Sungahid of Baguio City. This will be the first fight of Lopez since winning the WBC regional crown last April via an 8th round TKO victory over Jong-Nam Park of South Korea.
Also fighting in the event is current WBC International light-flyweight titleholder Julius Alcos who will test his mettle against Roy Jones Picardal.
Both of these bouts are non-title fights.
