Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has blasted Argentina ?s Sergio Manuel Medina over his shocking claim that he was threatened during the weigh-in for the fight against WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez and was forced to take a dive.

He was annihilated by the sensational Puerto Rican champion in one round on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar De La Hoya ?Dream Match? at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last Saturday.

Arum told www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports that Medina ?is totally out of his mind.? He said the man who booked him was with him all the time including the weigh-in and ?nobody said a word to him.?

He noted that Juanma Lopez ?only had his trainer, his mother and wife with him. This guy ( Medina ) is nuts.

He said Lopez ?is a lovely guy and the people around him are lovely? although he doesn?t have a big following in Las Vegas unlike in Puerto Rico .

Medina is the same fighter who lost a unanimous twelve round decision to Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista in a WBO super bantamweight eliminator in May 2007."
