LAS VEGAS--The world's undisputed light-heavyweight king Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins, who is here to watch this Saturday's "Dream Match", says that Oscar de la Hoya will take Manny Pacquiao to school, while pointing out that the Filipino icon's legacy is already set in place.

The 43-year-old Hopkins, who took the 26-year-old Pavlik to school on Oct. 18, said in an interview with this writer today that nobody can ever knock out Oscar De la Hoya outside of him.

Hopkins knocked out De la Hoya on Sept. 18, 2004 in their middleweight showdown also at the MGM, and the two became business partners years later in the Golden Boy Promotions family.

"It's not the age, it should not even be put into consideration. You don't decide on age. You give more weight on experience. Oscar has it. You have to realize Oscar was the only guy ever to move up from welterweight to face Bernard Hopkins in the middleweight level. He has the balls," said Hopkins.

"Manny Pacquiao is such a tremendous athlete. But he is facing the fox. The fox knows how to eat his lunch even if it is not yet served. The fox knows how to outsmart everybody, and Oscar is that fox," added Hopkins.

"Pacman is 100 percent offense. He has questionable defense. That's how I look at it. Oscar will stop him in the 8th or 9th round!" declared Hopkins.
