HOLLYWOOD, California--The world's boxing pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao has declared it's going to be a war when he faces boxing's biggest attraction Oscar De la Hoya on December 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Cebu promoter Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who arrived here last night with a throng of Pacquiao supporters and relatives, informed Philboxing.com early today that the Filipino boxing icon is ready to rumble, and expects De la Hoya to be the same on fight night.

"Kumbati gyud ni," (This will be a rumble) Pacquiao was quoted as saying by Salud, who planed in last night with Pacquiao's younger brother Rogel, and the wives of trainers Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri.

Salud, however, said he was pleasantly surprised Pacquiao didn't bulk up too much for this fight, but pointed out that the General Santos City native "looked ripped and built like a rock."

"The good thing is he doesn't look too massive, but he looks very solid and firm," added Salud, who had to skip a Tokyo trip upon the invitation of his Japanese friend just to be in Pacquiao's biggest career fight.
