LOS ANGELES--Renowned trainer Freddie Roach, in an interview, has indicated that his Wild Card Gym will always be open if world flyweight king Nonito Donaire decides to train at the gym.

Donaire, one of the most talented fighters in the world today, and holder of the IBF and IBO flyweight crowns, recently announced that his father will not be training him for his next fight.

"We will always find time for him," said Roach, when asked if he would have the time to train a fighter like Donaire, considering that he's got a full plate with superstar Manny Pacquiao and other fighters like Gerry Penalosa and Amir Khan to attend to.

Roach's assistant trainer Eric Brown, meanwhile, informed that the Donaires had trained at the Wild Card Gym in the past, and they have no problem with the father and son tandem.

"The Donaires are our friends. They are a class act. They are welcome here," said Brown, who assists Roach in the Pacman's corner along with Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri.
