TWO CEBU BOXERS IN THE LIMELIGHT THIS WEEKEND

ALA Promotions manager, Michael Aldeguer, the son of Philippine boxing patron, Mr. Antonio L. Aldeguer arrived in Las Vegas today with his wife, Christine and trainer Edmund Villamor. His hands will be full overseeing the upcoming fights of his two champion caliber fighters, Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista and Michael ?Bruce Lee? Domingo this coming weekend.

Bautista and Domingo arrived three weeks earlier last October 28 with their world class trainer, Edito Villamor and are currently training at Mayweather gym in Las Vegas.

Tony Martin, ALA Gym?s cut man and a resident of Las Vegas who arranged for the training of the boxers at Mayweather Gym and their housing accommodation, met the newly arrivals at the airport.

WBO Oriental Bantamweight Champion Michael Domingo will be fighting Golden Boy Promotions promising star Nestor Rocha on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, Cabazon, California which is located around 261 miles south of Las Vegas and 89 miles north of Los Angeles, California through interstate 15. ?Michael Aldeguer and trainer Edmund Villamor might proceed first to Morongo either on Tuesday or Wednesday and I and Domingo will follow later,? Martin said.

Domingo?s fight with Rocha is a co-featured main event with former World Champion Jhonny Gonzalez battling Colombian boxer Reynaldo Lopez. These fights which is being promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and Ford Motor Company will be televised on Telefutura?s Solo Boxeo that will begin airing at 8 p.m. ET. but a delayed telecast on the west coast.

WBO Inter-Continental Super Bantamweight champion Rey ?Boom? Bautista will be fighting Mexican Heriberto Ruiz on November 22, 2008 in Las Vegas as an under card of the ?Power vs. Precision? boxing event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena featuring Englishman Ricky Hatton and American Paulie Malignaggi for the Ring Magazine and IBO Light Welterweight titles, as presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Punch Promotions and DiBella Entertainment and sponsored by Affliction Clothing and Cerveza Tecate and will be telecast live on HBO's World Championship Boxing broadcast beginning at 7:00pm PT / 10:00pm ET.

Tickets priced at $1,000, $750, $500, $300 and $150 are still available at any MGM Grand box office outlet and at all Las Vegas Ticketmaster locations (select Smith's Food and Drug Centers and Ritmo Latino).
