LOS ANGELES--Bobby Pacquiao is expected to leave this city today for San Jose, California where he takes on Robert Frankel on Nov. 20 at the HP Pavilion.
Pacquiao, who was interviewed by this writer yesterday at the baptism of Rodel Mayol's son Rylan Brent, said that his team will depart on Tuesday, but his superstar brother Manny Pacquiao wont be part of the group.
"He will just watch on television. He's busy in his preparation for his fight with Oscar," Pacquiao told this writer yesterday.
Pacquiao also added that he would want to defend his WBO Asia Pacific lightweight title sometime in January, adding that he does not want to be stripped of his prestigious belt.
"I worked hard for that belt, I can't afford to lose that," added Pacquiao, who was joined last night by wife Lorelei who arrived from the Philippines just in time to join the group on Tuesday's trip to San Jose.
