Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) lightweight champ Randy Suico will defend his title for the third time on September 20 against Japan's Nihito Arakawa at the famous Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

The 28-year-old Suico (28-3, 24 KO's) has seen action only once this year, a non-title bout against Thailand's Songkom Jockygym whom he stopped in three rounds on April 21.

The 26-year-old southpaw Arakawa, a native of Tokyo, is a heavy-handed prospect who parades a 13-1 win-loss record with 9 KO's.

There had been plans to bring Suico to fight in the United States as an undercard to Manny Pacquiao's last fight against David Diaz, but that did not materialize.

Suico, an original member of Cebu's "Golden Boys" of boxing along with Malcolm Tunacao and Rev Santillan, previously ruled as OPBF superfeatherweight champ before relinquishing the title to campaign in the heavier lightweight division.
