Gabriel Santisima retained his WBO Asia-Pacific super bantamweight title in dramatic fashion, overwhelming Marsolo Pandian in the opening round. Pandian surged early but Santisima’s precise punches and disciplined rhythm quickly shifted the momentum, culminating in a stoppage before the round ended.
Post fight remarks from Santisima: "I want to thank everyone who supports me, my team Zip Sanman, my trainer Michael Domingo, and my family. I’m happy with my title defense and hopeful for a world title shot soon."
