
Lebosada, Sia rule DSA Open golf

JERSON Lebosada and Kenzo Sia ruled the first DSA (Davao Sportswriters Association) Golf for a Cause tournament held Saturday, May 30 at the South Pacific Golf Club Davao in Catalunan Pequeno.
Lebosada, a Class A player, carded 51 Molave points to emerge as the over-all gross champion.
Sixteen-year-old Sia, on the other hand, shot a 67 to take the over-all net title.
Jhuniel Villarosa took the Class A gross champion with 49 points. He was followed by Abu Mata [48].
Matthew Reyes settled the Class A net crown with 58 points followed by Zeki Taglucop [55].
In Class B, Gerry Josol fired 45 for gross champion while Arlen Michael Ching shot 56 for the net title.
The runners-up were Edwin Cayamanda [42] and Marko Ong [56].
DSA president Jon Develos and vice president Leo Palo awarded the prizes worth more than P200,000 including a tour package from Adelina Hotel & Suites and Dahican Resort and Spa [P100k].
Also given away were Huawei Smart watches and bluetooth earpods and Empire Golf accessories and apparel mostly Titleist and Footjoy brands.
The proceeds of the tournament will go to the cancer patients of the House of Hope.

Gross champion - John Jeffrey Jagonia [41], runner-up – Jun Bonador [40]
Net champion - Cedric Earl Tamayo [64], runner-up-Teofilo Murillo [60]
Seniors
Gross champion - Benhur Villarosa [50], runner-up – Paul Dakudao [49]
Net champion – Bong Gonzaga [59], runner-up - Nick Olarte [55]
Ladies
Gross champion - Marilou Rebaya [28]
