MONTERRY, Mexico ? After obtaining a visa from the Mexican Embassy in Laredo, Texas and securing a permit from Estados Unidos Mexicanos, we arrived here at past 11 o?clock in the evening (July 3) from Nuevo Laredo, a Mexican city located in the boarder of Laredo, Texas, USA.

At 7 o?clock in the morning (July 4), Dr. Allan L. Recto and I will are scheduled to fly to Mexico D.F. Aeropuerto Internacional in Mexico City on board Aviacsa Consorcio Aviaxsa Boeing 737.

At around 10 o?clock in the morning, we are scheduled to have a courtesy call with Philippine Ambassador to Mexico, Honorable Antonio M. Lagdameo at the Embassy of the Philippines on Sierra Gorda 175, Colonia Lomas de Chapultepec Delegacion Miguel Hidalgo, D.F. Mexico, Mexico City.

Recto, a licensed ring physician in Texas, will hand over as gifts to Ambassador Lagdameo a World Boxing Council (WBC) min-belt signed by WBC lightweight champion Manny Pacquiao and WBC patches.

In the afternoon, we are scheduled to visit the WBC headquarters and meet WBC president Don Jose Sulaiman Chagnon, his son secretary-general Mauricio Sulaiman, among other WBC bigwigs for interview and discussion of matters related to Pacquiao?s historic bagging of his fourth world title, the future of North American Boxing Federation (NABF) super bantamweight champion Bernabe Concepcion, the recent decision of the WBC Board of Governors which nullified the disqualification victory of Francisco Lorenzo over Humberto Soto, and Philippine boxing in general.

Lic. Mauricio Sulaiman, in a communication to Recto, confirmed we have a scheduled meeting with Don Jose Sulaiman Chagnon, a many-time Manila visitor who presided over the 45th WBC World Convention at the Manila Hotel in November 2007.

?We are honored that Mauricio has helped facilitate our meeting with Don Jose Sulaiman. We are also lucky that the Philippine Embassy has responded positively to our trip,? Recto said.
