MAPUA, PSKAI R-10 to play in Best of Best

THE Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao in Davao City and the Philippine Shotokan Karatedo Association Inc. (PSKAI] Region 10 in Cagayan de Oro will both see action in the coming 89th Araw ng Dabaw Best of the Best Karate Tournament.
Mapua has Christian Bern A. Tacay and Pauleen Nicelle B. Panlilio with Irish Ortiz as coach.
Tacay will play in the Boys 16-17 yrs old, Advanced Kumite, Boys Team Kumite and Mens -61kg Kumite while Panlilio will compete in the Girls Advanced Kata, Girls 16-17 yrs old, Advanced Kumite and Womens Team Kumite
“They are also members of the PSKAI Region 11,” said organizer Bern Rexander Tacay of PSKAI Region 11-Takai Gijutsu School of Martial Arts.
PSKAI Region 10, on the other hand, will field Niel Lloyd Sangrador, Charlize Santos, Yeohan Dacoco and Dylon Palamine.
Marc Carlo Sangrador is the coach and the PSKAI Region 10 director.
“We are only sending four, other kids are busy for their final exams,” said Sangrador.
The tournament, which will have kata and kumite events, is set on March 21 and 22 at the Felcris Centrale in Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City.
