ORLANDO, FL (December 8, 2025) – Boxlab Promotions’ super welterweight contender, Yoenis “El Bandolero” Tellez (10-1, 7 KOs), currently ranked WBA #4, is locked in and ready to return to the ring with a statement performance against battle-tested veteran Kendo Castaneda (21-12, 9 KOs). The scheduled 8-round bout will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, as part of the highly anticipated “Night of Champions XIII” event live from the world-renowned Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, during the 104th Annual World Boxing Association (WBA) Convention. All the action will stream globally on Boxlab’s official YouTube channel.
Tellez, a contender with explosive power and Cuban pedigree, is eager to get back in the win column after suffering the first loss of his professional career—a moment he says has only fueled his motivation. “This camp has been about growth and focus,” said Tellez, who is co-promoted with Warriors Boxing. “After the loss, I went straight back to work with my team. Tellez made it clear he’s not overlooking the veteran, Kendo Castaneda. “Kendo is experienced and unpredictable. He’s fought a lot of good fighters, and I’m taking this fight very seriously.
