The 1908 Summer Olympics was held in London, England, from April 27 to October 31, 1908. The 1908 Games were originally scheduled to be held in Rome. The bouts consisted of three rounds each, with the first two rounds having a duration of three minutes and the last one going four minutes. Two judges would score the match, giving 5 points to the boxer who had the better performance in each of the first two rounds and 7 were awarded to the better boxer in the third round.
